What personal data we hold on an applicant or student file, why, and for how long.
Last updated: 16 Sep 2026
Controller. Daur Finance Limited, trading as DF Business School, is the data controller for any personal data you submit to this site or during enrolment.
What we collect. Name, contact details, and programme preference at enquiry stage; identity, payment, coursework and assessment records at enrolment. We do not collect more than each stage requires.
Why. To process your application, administer tuition and assessment, issue your diploma and transcript, and meet our own record-keeping and accounting obligations. We do not use applicant data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who sees it. Your file is held on an internal, named-access basis — reviewed only by admissions and academic staff directly involved in your programme. It is not shared with third parties except where a processor is strictly needed to deliver the service, or where the law requires disclosure.
How long. Enquiry data that does not lead to enrolment is deleted after 12 months. Student and graduate records are retained for as long as needed to stand behind a diploma we have issued, after which they are archived under restricted access.
Your rights. Under UK data protection law you may ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Requests go to the address below; we confirm receipt within five working days.
Cookies. This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Session-only technical storage may be used to keep a form working; nothing is retained once you close the page.
